OYS & TYS

Systems for student and course management and Turkish Proficiency Exam workflows, developed within a shared platform structure.

01 — Overview

OYS & TYS focuses on student, course, examination and administration processes. It is developed in a monorepo that brings shared identity together with distinct data and application boundaries.

02 — Need and scope

Students, instructors, candidates and administrators have connected needs, but each domain has different data and business rules. Responsibilities need to remain clear while common capabilities are shared.

Shared identity, clear responsibilities.
03 — Scope of my contribution
01 / 03 — Scope

Considering different user and administration needs across student, course and examination processes.

04 — Technical approach

Next.js interfaces and NestJS services work with PostgreSQL, Prisma and Redis. Turborepo supports shared packages and separate application domains within one repository.

05 — Notes from the project

I focus on considering user journeys alongside data and service boundaries, retaining domain-specific rules within a shared foundation.

06 — Output and current state

I am actively involved in frontend and backend development of these web-based management systems. Work on student, course and examination management is ongoing.
